Who is Bennett Financials, really?
And what about us is different from the 138,000 other accounting firms in the US?
It’s a grim statistic that half of all businesses fail within the first five years because of a lack of cash flow. We believe we’ve uncovered why – and more important – how we can help prevent it from happening to you.
There is a common ‘profit at all costs’ mindset among entrepreneurs that needs to shift into a cash flow mindset. It’s one of the quickest and most effective ways to help you succeed. And while we know you’re passionate about your business, you may not be so passionate about financial data analysis, or even know how to develop a cash flow mindset.
But we do. In fact, the thing we’re MOST passionate about is optimizing cash flows and keeping more money in your business (and your pockets).
So you do your thing.
We’ll do our thing.
And together we’ll be part of the 50% of businesses that make it to thriving success.
Sure, we could bore you and focus on stats like having over 35 years of experience, or that we’ve worked with over 600 other entrepreneurs globally, or even that we’ve been featured in national publications like StarTribune Business.
But honestly that seems a bit too much like what the other 138,000 firms might do.
We’d rather lead with our why and our ethos, and let you decide if we’re the kind of folks you’d trust to manage your money and help you grow.
We are intensely committed to both our mission and metrics.
We believe in radical transparency.
We favor autonomy and take ownership.
We believe our best perk is amazing people.
We dare to be different and question the status quo.
Meet Our Team
Hey I’m Arron and I’m the owner of Bennett Financials. I’ve spent my entire professional life working in the field of accounting. I love numbers, and my personal mission is to help other businesses succeed by using the power of financial data, analytics, and coaching.
When I’m not in the office, I mentor at Gig Loft, an organization that helps entrepreneurs and freelancers understand and implement proper accounting processes for their business.
Prior to my accounting life, I traveled the world and lived out of a backpack for three years. I still love to travel and am fascinated by new foods and cultures.
I’m an avid reader, and really enjoy going to festivals and concerts with my wife. I’m a former (and sometimes current) DJ, and have had the pleasure of spinning for some fairly large crowds and well-known clubs, too!
Hi there my name is Mike and I’ve been in the accounting field for nearly 15 years. Prior to my accounting journey, I earned a bachelor’s degree in meteorology, with a minor in both physics and mathematics. I continued my education, eventually earning a double master’s in both business administration and accounting.
With my apparent love for education, it made perfect sense that I became an adjunct professor for business and accounting at Pensacola State College for 4 years. I’ve been an enrolled agent since 2013, and have public accounting experience doing financial and 401(k) audits, tax preparation, and more.
When I’m not in the office working as a tax and accounting manager, you’ll probably find me at the beach or a baseball game. I love to cook and occasionally enjoy a smooth bourbon. I share my life with my wife, daughters, a son and two dogs.
