Truth be told, I always root for the underdog. I’ve seen the statistics. I know that only half of the small businesses make it to the five-year mark and are still operating and in business.
I am in business because I want to help somebody develop their passion into sustainable fruition. I want the people I work with to be in the 50% that makes it. And I want to be part of the reason why that happens.
In my entire accounting lifetime (lifetime is totally the right word lol), I’ve worked with over 600 entrepreneurs and business owners globally. I learned very early on in my accounting career that while profits are incredible, cash is where the money’s at!
Corny jokes aside, did you know the #1 reason small businesses fail is a ‘LACK OF CASH FLOW’? According to a U.S. Bank study, 82% of companies that failed cited cash flow problems as a reason for their failure.
Shifting your focus from profit at all cost mindset to a cash flow thought process is one of the quickest and most effective ways of helping business owners succeed.
Since 2018, my focus has been on helping startups and early-stage sales and marketing companies and business coaches who feel like they never have enough money, are stuck in an “if I can just get that one more sale I won’t have to worry about money” mindset, and want an accountant that is present and there to help when you need them.
